STARRING ROLE IN SHORT FILM, WORLD PREMIERE AT 2015 PAN AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL IN LOS ANGELES, CA in january 2015 IT'S BEEN MANY YEARS SINCE MY PROFESSIONAL STAGE ACTING DEBUT IN THE HIT MUSICAL, "AIN'T MISBEHAVIN" BUT THAT EXPERIENCE CAME IN HANDY AS I SAW MY CHARACTER COME TO LIFE ON THE BIG SCREEN. I STEPPED INTO THE ROLE OF "CALLIE STASSEN," A GRANDMOTHER WITH TRADITIONAL IDEAS ABOUT WHAT'S LADYLIKE FOR GRANDDAUGHTER AND NAMESAKE, LITTLE CALLIE. The film was also screened at UCLA in The Ralph Bunch Center for African American Studies for the "Images in Blackness" film series in January 2016. The film is available for private screenings.
